Evening meals are not included but local pubs, takeaways, restaurants etc all within a 5 minute drive – details available

Secondhand Tack and Rug stall onsite

Tuck Shop will be open on site all day.

Camping area & Horsebox parking is available & is included to those wishing to stable over night , alternatively we can provide a list of local B&B's

Full payment is required by 5th August 2012. In the event of non-payment of balance by 5/8/2012 the booking is rendered invalid & the place offered to clients on the ‘waiting list’. No Deposit Refund.

EVENT INFORMATION

Please note the following information:

Arrivals:

  • Arrivals will be accepted on Monday 13th August 2012 between 1800 & 2100

  • Arrivals on Tuesday 14th August 2012 must be between 0730 & 0900

  • Arrivals on Tuesday 14th August 2012 will be accepted between 1700 & 2100

  • Arrivals on Wednesday 15th August 2012 must be between 0730 & 0900

Departures:

  • Departures on Wednesday 15th August 2012 will be between 1700 – 2000

  • Departures on Thursday 16th August 2012) will be between 1700 – 2000

  • Departures on Friday 17th August 2012 will be between 0900 -1100

Disclaimers

  • Upon arrival all riders will be required to sign a standard disclaimer

  • Pulborough Stud reserve the right to amend any aspect of the scheduled activities at their discretion.

  • Any activity changes will endeavour to be substituted with events/activities of a similar standard/nature.

Yard Rules/Etiquette

  • You are required to abide by the yard rules & regulations at all times.

  • A list detailing yard etiquette will be made available to all.

  • No Smoking on the Yard at any time anywhere

  • No access to areas clearly marked as prohibited at any time (brood mares & stallions are on site)

  • No dogs on site at any time

Overnight Facilities

  • Clearly designated areas for erection of tents, Campervan and Horsebox parking will be provided.

  • There are no shower facilities on site – the toilet contains a wash-hand basin & WC only.

  • Breakfast and Lunch will be presented in a buffet style self service.

  • Riders are required to bring their own plastic plates,bowls, cutlery and cups for the provided meals.

Accidents/Injuries

  • No medical personnel will be on site during the event(s)

  • A fully stocked standard first aid kit will be located on site

  • All accidents must be reported to Pulborough Stud & an accident form completed

  • All accidents are logged in a Yard Accident Book

  • Full emergency contact details must be provided at the time of booking.

  • Access to a fully qualified vet / farrier will be available via an on-call service during the event.

Additional Information

  • All Dressage, Show Jumping & Cross Country activities will be led by fully qualified instructors.

  • Veterinary Lecture will be given by Ed Lyall from The Arundel Veterinary Hospital.

  • A Timetable will be available online two days prior to camp and posted on the Notice board on the day

  • Lessons will be structured to ensure equality of experience as far as is reasonably practicable.

  • No more than 3 pupils in any one SJ/Dressage lesson

  • Riding hats to current standard must be worn at all times when mounted.

  • X-C riders must wear current standard Body Protectors and Skull Caps

  • Hacks will be for a maximum of 8 riders at any one time

  • All hacks will be led by at least two experienced riders

  • All riders hacking must wear fluorescent waistcoats.

  • Those stabling are required to bring their own tools, buckets and feed etc.

  • Full haynets can be purchased for horses staying all day that are not stabled at the stud overnight.

  • Daytime horses are required to bring a headcollar, leadrope and water bucket with them.

  • An option is available to those just wishing to hack instead of taking lessons.

  • Riders who wish to attend Coombelands but not join the X-C clinic have the option of using the Dressage and Show Jumping arenas to practice.
